Tate Americas Launches Global Search for Executive Director

The Board of Trustees of Tate Americas Foundation has launched a global search to identify an outstanding individual for the Executive Director who will lead the Foundation and enhance its impact. Reporting to the Board of Trustees and working closely with colleagues at Tate, the Executive Director will lead the Foundation’s strategy to grow relationships with collectors, galleries and donors in order to increase philanthropic funds and the acquisition of art.

The role of Executive Director is a career defining opportunity for someone with a deep and authoritative knowledge of and passion for art as well as proven experience of high-value relationship development and income generation.”

Tate Americas Foundation is working with global executive search firm Perrett Laver on this appointment. With offices in London, San Francisco, Chicago, Vancouver, Amsterdam, Sydney and Hong Kong, Perrett Laver supported Tate on the appointment of Tate Britain Executive Director Alex Farquharson in 2015.
