Acquisitions

Tate Americas Foundation acquisitions are made through the Tate Americas Foundation endowment, acquisition committees, and gifts. Since its founding, more than 800 works of art have been donated or pledged.

Tate holds the national collection of British art from 1500 to the present day and international modern and contemporary art.

We invite you to explore some of the extraordinary works that are growing the Tate collection, made possible by the support of our valued friends.
