Support

Support Tate by making a donation, becoming a Patron, joining an Acquisitions Committee, gifting a work of art, or leaving a bequest.

The Tate Americas Foundation provides critical support for the mission and work of Tate in the United Kingdom. We build community, raise critical funds to support world-class exhibitions and programs, and acquire works of art, all in an effort to increase access and engagement with Tate’s expansive collection.

Join as a Patron of the Tate Americas Foundation and enjoy unparalleled access to Tate’s Collection and exhibitions. Become part of an international community of ambassadors and supporters and help underwrite Tate’s key areas of work: exhibitions, learning, conservation, and acquisitions.

To make a donation and learn more about becoming a Patron, please click here or contact Kristel Kempin, Director of Development at kkempin@tateamericas.org.

Acquisitions Committees play an essential role in Tate’s global network of support. Members of the North American and Latin American Acquisitions Committee help diversify and expand Tate’s collection by acquiring major works of arts from the Americas. Acquisitions Committee members champion Tate’s efforts to democratize art for the public and enhance Tate’s collection to better reflect our global world. Works acquired by the Committees enter the collection and are shown at Tate Modern, Tate Britain, Tate Liverpool, and Tate St Ives and are loaned to exhibitions around the world.

Acquisitions Committee members are invited to accompany curators on research travel programs and artist studio visits, to join fellow Committee members and Tate staff on international programs, and to actively participate and to vote on acquisition support at one of two committee meetings per year.
